Founded in 1990, Tech Waters has grown into a trusted leader in water and wastewater solutions, built on decades of engineering excellence and industry expertise.
We operate through a two-pronged approach—engineering projects and the trading of chemicals and equipment—allowing us to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions that maximize value for our customers.
What sets us apart is our fully integrated, in-house capability. We are one of the few companies in Sri Lanka with dedicated MEP installation teams and an in-house laboratory, Tech Waters Labs, enabling greater control, precision, and quality across every project.
As a Central Environmental Authority (CEA) certified and licensed water treatment specialist contractor and consultant, we operate to the highest regulatory and environmental standards.
Today, Tech Waters is driven by a dynamic next-generation team, combining fresh thinking with strong technical expertise to lead the future of sustainable water solutions.
Nalin Kamaragoda
Managing Director
Nalin Kamaragoda, Managing Director of Tech Waters (Pvt) Ltd, is a pioneer and one of the most respected figures in Sri Lanka’s swimming pool and water management industry. A trained Chemist, he began his career in the 1970s and founded Tech Waters in 1990, bringing nearly five decades of expertise to the field.
He was the first to introduce global brands such as Certikin, AstralPool, and HTH chlorine to Sri Lanka, and collaborated with German engineers to install the country’s first modern sewage treatment plants and reed bed systems. Under his leadership, Tech Waters also became the exclusive Sri Lankan partner for Houseman and Porter’s Water Treatment (UK).
With 35 years at the helm, Nalin has led landmark projects for luxury hotels, institutions, and private clients, shaping the standards and technologies that define the industry today. His vision and dedication continue to position Tech Waters as Sri Lanka’s most trusted name in swimming pools, water and wastewater treatment, and spa solutions.
Santha Wijetunga
General Manager
Santha Wijetunga has been an integral part of Tech Waters (Pvt) Ltd for over 25 years, bringing with him immense experience and deep technical knowledge in the water management field. A Science graduate from a leading Sri Lankan university, Santha has built a distinguished career focused on advancing water treatment technologies and swimming pool solutions nationwide. His technical proficiency and strategic leadership have been central to the successful execution of some of Sri Lanka’s most complex and high-value projects. In addition, Santha has played a significant role in mentoring and guiding the company’s engineering and technical teams, fostering professional growth and knowledge transfer within the organization. With his proven industry expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence, he continues to be a key driver in strengthening Tech Waters’ position as the leading provider of swimming pool and water management solutions in Sri Lanka.

Navin Kamaragoda
Director
Navin Kamaragoda represents the second generation of leadership at Tech Waters (Pvt) Ltd, bringing over 11 years of experience in water management and entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, a prestigious global initiative that equips high-potential leaders to scale businesses and create lasting impact.
Navin also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Coventry University, UK, and Finance qualifications from the London School of Economics (LSE), UK, along with certification as a Green Building Professional. Beyond Tech Waters, he is a serial entrepreneur with ventures in waste recycling and sustainable packaging, successfully building businesses that align with global sustainability trends. At Tech Waters, Navin focuses on strategy, business development, and global partnerships — leveraging his diverse expertise to drive innovation and position the company as Sri Lanka’s benchmark for water management.
Harin Kamaragoda
Director
Harin Kamaragoda plays an integral role in driving Tech Waters’ growth, bringing expertise in real estate, finance, sales, and marketing. A graduate of the University of London, Harin has a background in investment banking and is a former licensed and registered investment advisor to the Colombo Stock Exchange. His focus on luxury real estate developments and strong client engagement skills strengthen the company’s market presence, complementing Tech Waters’ pioneering legacy in swimming pools, water treatment, and spa systems.
Nihara Kamaragoda
Director
Nihara Kamaragoda contributes to Tech Waters through her expertise in business management, digital marketing, and communications. She holds a BBA from the University at Buffalo (Singapore) and an MBA from Cardiff University, giving her a strong foundation in management and strategic leadership. At Tech Waters, she is instrumental in shaping the company’s brand identity, marketing strategies, and customer engagement across digital and traditional platforms. Her modern approach ensures Tech Waters continues to connect effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders while carrying forward its pioneering reputation.
